Makers Markets
SSan Diego Made hosts awesome makers’ markets throughout the city.
The San Diego Made organization began as a handmade event company that produced market experiences that connected artists and makers with the public. We started in 2014 with the first San Diego Made Market, featuring 30 vendors and 200 attendees. Today, our events have grown into large-scale art festivals with hundreds of vendors and thousands of attendees.
Our mission is to keep it local, prioritize quality, and create unique experiences that support the local economy. We’ve partnered with institutions like the Lafayette Hotel, Balboa Park’s Maker Faire, Intuit, Ballast Point, The New Children’s Museum, the Port of San Diego, and more to activate their events and spaces.
In 2019, we expanded by acquiring Makers Arcade, the city’s largest handmade market brand. Today, both of these organizations help us further our mission of supporting working artists and craftsmen in the San Diego community.
