At San Diego Made, we believe that creativity is a vital force for building strong, connected communities. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our work centers around providing affordable space, resources, and opportunities to local artists, makers, and cultural organizations—and we can’t do it without your support.
We welcome donations year-round to help sustain our mission. In-kind contributions such as professional services, equipment, food and beverages, or supplies help support our programs and operations. Monetary gifts directly power our key initiatives and ensure we can continue to serve our creative community.

All donations are applied to one of our three cornerstone operating funds.
Community Event Space Initiative
Keeps our event spaces affordable and accessible for local nonprofits, artists, and cultural groups to host impactful, community-centered events. Supports our ability to donate free space use to community organizations doing good work so they can focus their resources on programming, not venue space.
Factory Maintenance and Support Fund
Supporting this fund helps us cover essential operational costs such as utilities, repairs, equipment upgrades, and general maintenance that keep our creative hub running smoothly. Just as importantly, it allows us to retain and fairly compensate our dedicated support staff—the behind-the-scenes team who keep the Factory clean, functional, and ready for action every day.
Artist Scholarship Fund
This fund provides subsidized studio space, essential creative resources, and financial stipends to local artists through our flagship residency and scholarship programs.
By reducing the financial barriers that often limit access to professional art spaces, this fund ensures that talented creators can pursue their work in a supportive and well-equipped environment.
