Color & Chill: Connecting in Wellness Through Coloring

Sunday, December 1, 1-4pm

Illustrated Melanin invites you to join Color & Chill: Connecting in Wellness Through Coloring on December 1, 2024, from 1 PM to 4 PM at the San Diego Made Factory. Designed as a creative and restorative escape, this event offers adults (21+) a therapeutic afternoon of coloring, an accessible and enjoyable mindfulness practice that allows you to relax, express yourself, and rejuvenate your mental well-being. Color & Chill aims to cultivate an inclusive community centered on wellness, where participants can rediscover the simple joy of putting colored pencils or crayons to paper—whether inside or outside the lines!

With tickets available starting at $35, Color & Chill operates on a sliding scale and Pay It Forward model to encourage broader community participation. Enjoy vibrant sounds curated by DJ Curet to set the mood, and unwind in a soothing one-hour sound bath experience led by Chocolate Yoga Destinations, enhancing the afternoon’s sense of calm. Throughout the event, refreshment sponsors Sip Well, Topo Chico, and Juneshine will provide beverages to keep you hydrated and in the flow. Join us at the San Diego Made Factory for an afternoon dedicated to relaxation, connection, and the healing art of coloring.
